The Noontime Friday Rewind: June 2nd

By Matt Noonan (@MattNoonan11)

Happy Friday and a happy (early) weekend, everyone!

Noontime Sports is pleased to unveil its first-ever ‘Friday-Rewind,’ a look back at our various posts (and news) from the week.

Consider this a recap of the week’s news – or technically, an in-case-you-missed-it!

So, what did we blog about this week?

Let’s begin with the Coast Guard Academy football team, which unveiled its 2017 slate earlier this week. The Bears, who are coming off a 3-7 campaign, will look to commence its new season on a high note when they host Alfred State at the end of August.

On Thursday – yesterday, to be exact – we unveiled our very early preseason college football coverage plan, which includes some blogs on team’s schedules and podcasts.

If you have an idea for a possible story or additional ways we can improve our early season coverage of New England Division III football, let us know by sending us an email to NoontimeSports@gmail.com. You can also send me a tweet on Twitter (@MattNoonan11).

We concluded Thursday with an early look – and yes, a few thoughts – on the Bridgewater State football schedule, which features a pair of non-conference tilts in the first two weeks. The Bears will open its 2017 campaign at Buffalo State before entertaining Endicott College one week later.

Finally – this is a REAL in-case-you-missed-it from last month – but if you want to know what teams we’ll be eyeballing this coming season, then check-out my post on ‘What teams to Watch in 2017?’

That’s a wrap on a fun week of blogging (and coverage), have a great weekend, everyone, and be kind to each other, too!
